Our family will be in Uruguay soon for just over a term. Our kids will only just be beginning a longer period of immersion into Spanish. At the moment, they don't know any Spanish. Does anybody know if 1) it is possible to enrol children (aged 10 and 12) into Uruguay schools for a term? 2) if their limited Spanish skills will be acceptable to the school system there? and 3) what the process is for overseas parents to enrol kids into schools? Are you still living in Uruguay? I think it might not be a problem to enroll kinds in School, specially in Private Schools. People in uruguay are very flexible, kind and open.
