I am a card carrying state certified medical marijuana patient in California, where I am permited to cultivate and use a small ammount for my own needs.
I understand in Uruguay you may posess up to 5 grams on your person, and 25 grams at your home. I have heard that these numbers are not exact and cultivation of marijuana is still illegal, though there are very few arrests. I was wondering if there is a medical marijuana exception in Uruguay, or if not, how law enforcement really handles the use and cultivation of marijauana. I have heard that the typical response by Uruguayans is "if it dosent hurt others we dont care" but is this really true?
Thanks for asking this question, Cannaman... I need to know as well... I currently reside in a non-medical use state & have no card, altho our HB642 passed with "favorable recommendation" it could still be years...
So long as I grow only for myself, just a few plants (maybe 20), for personal consumption only (I have fibromyalgia & chronic muscle spasm, headaches)...
I had heard President Mujica was leading SA with hsi liberal approaches...
