I read a newspaper article that said Uruguay is doing an expeiremental industreal hemp cultivation this october, and if successful will begin to issue licences from the ministry of agraculture possibly later next year... I am very involved in the emerging California medical marijuana industry, cannabis cultivation in general. I am looking into buying some property in Uruguay to begin a hemp farm and small factory with industreal hemp processing of paper, textiles, seed oil, and food products. I have very interested international investors but will need to formulate a business plan knowing nothing about Uruguay, I have many questions and any help or in-country contacts would be greatly appreciated.
