I read that you considered initially getting the health insurance from Hospital Britanico and had to have medical examinations, whereas Asociacion Espanola seemed not to have required you to do any examinations (although it was not clear to me if this is their standard policy). For a person with medical history in the past 10-15 years, would getting a good health insurance in your opinion be possible?

Asociacion Espanola is the way to go... You just go in and pay... They don't ask you a single question, whereas the British Hospital is very rigorous... and I doubt you would get accepted...
