Hi Brian,

I saw your site post on your Apple router recommendation.  I don't live in the Mac world.  Do you know if say one of the Linksys or D-link routers I have will "work" in MVD? (I can't see why not...)

Two and a half weeks to go! By the way...do you know anyone who brought an iphone or other webphone - obviously needs to be unlocked, but is there service for these?

Your routers should work fine down here... The only thing I would recommend is if they are DC, to get an AC/DC adapterir?t=johnschrys-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B0018YCVX6 and a plug adapterir?t=johnschrys-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B000NP9RME. 

I don't know of anyone who brought iPhones with them...  We brought a Blackberry World Edition, but haven't used it yet...

I do know there are iPhones in good working order down here and that people use them, because I know a couple of people with iPhones...  I don't know of anyone who has brought and iPhone unlocked and use it down here... 

Somebody else please chime in?

most modern electronics support  110-240v
just double check before you buy it.
