Hi there, expats.
My wife (Selene Soler) and I (Bill Schoettler) are planning on moving to Montevideo sometime in September or October. Selene was born there 64 years ago and her son, Martin Herrera lives there with his wife Clara. We're looking forward to a long and comfortable life in our new chosen country. This is my first introduction to this forum and I expect I'll be doing some more posting as the time gets closer and our planning gets more specific. In the meantime, Hi again and looking forward to meeting some of you.
Incidentally, Selene designs and makes jewelry and I've been a trial attorney, judge and more recently a mediator/arbitrator in Los Angeles. Don't anticipate doing any work in my new country.
